The creative minds over at Burberry are back in the news. After teasing the second installment of its Mythical Games Blankos Block Party collaboration, the fashion house has announced this year’s collaborative NFT character, Minny B. Inspired by the fashion house’s Animal Kingdom code, the unicorn has been chosen in the brand’s TB Summer Monogram print.
The collection includes a playable NFT character and a selection of digital accessories. From branded boomboxes, TB sliders, lucky horseshoe necklaces, and a seashell-inspired mobile phone dubbed the “Shellphone,” the collection features a wide range of details. Minny B features a spiraled horn and white wings, allowing players to explore the world of Blankos by flight.
Burberry also created a social space within the game titled “The Oasis,” allowing players to connect. The experience is inspired by the brand’s latest TB Summer Monogram physical destination takeovers taking place in Saint-Tropez, Korea, Singapore, and Ibiza. Burberry’s VP of Channel Innovation Rachel Waller stated: “The metaverse provides limitless opportunities for us to flex our imagination and connect with our customers.” She continues, “Luxury is an industry built on fantasy and expression, so in many ways, gaming is a canvas perfectly suited to bringing these dreams to life.”
