It’s never a bad day when we get some new music from Busta Rhymes. With a new album on the horizon, the legendary NYC native is back with a brand new single. This time around, Busta links up with Anderson .Paak for an impressive and intense new effort entitled “YUUUU.” The track finds both artists doing what they do best while getting quite a backdrop to shine upon. The track is the second single from Busta’s upcoming album, which is his tenth studio album.
The track follows “The Don & The Boss” with Vybz Kartel, and the fellas do not disappoint. The track is pushed by these bouncy, snappy percussion sections, which are seamlessly paired with some fitting and highly contagious melodic elements. The combination allows both artists to showcase their style, and they do flawlessly.
Busta brings the bars, unleashing some of his patent wordplay and effortless appeal. Anderson brings the smoothness, showing off his vocal prowess and range while coming together with Mr. Rhymes for something exceptional.
“YUUUU” is just the latest from the legend, who is gearing up to drop off Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God. No word on when we can expect the album to drop, but we will certainly keep you in the loop.
