The good folks over at Cadillac are returning to the world of endurance racing. Today the automaker is back with a look at its new GTP hypercar. The sleek and stunning machine is a glimpse into the future for Cadillac. The Cadillac Project GTP Hypercar is slated to showcase its speed in both IMSA and the WEC, including the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The ride features an array of unmistakable styling cues from the automaker.
The ride is outfitted with vertical head and tail lights and creased-edge lines that make for a modern nod to Cadillacs of the past. The GTP is powered by a new 5.5-liter V8 and hybrid-electric system, which is sure to generate ample power for this beautiful machine. Testing is slated to begin this summer, while the car is set to make its debut at the Rolex 24 of Daytona next year.
