Who doesn’t love camping? Well, sure, some of us, but that’s not the point here. Camping is always a fun experience, and it’s even better when you have some of the basic comforts of home. Today we get a look at an off-road camper that offers an expandable camping solution. The FlexCamp Expanding Off-Road Camper isn’t your typical camper.
The compact concept can be easily transported behind an SUV or in the bed of a truck. But once you arrive at the campsite, it transforms into a cabin big enough for four. The camper uses a bidirectional expansion system to extend in height from 70 to 120 feet and 80 to 131 feet in width.
The inside features a double bed and a flexible kitchen space, boasting modular drawers to turn the area into a dining area or an additional sleeping space. The FlexCamp also includes a dry toilet that pulls out of the bed frame and a drain that catches water from the shower for a wet bath. The FlexCamp is still in development, though the company plans to present the final model at the end of 2022.
