The good folks over at New Era are back at it once again. The international sports and lifestyle brand and renowned film director Spike Lee have unveiled a new collection. The range of hats honors the New York Yankees winning history. The New Era x Spike Lee New York Yankees Championship Collection features seven unique designs to celebrate the team’s history.
The headwear honors the unmatched 27 World Series Championships of the New York Yankees. The collection includes 59FIFTY® fitted caps that boast baseball bats or gloves that represent each year the Yankees won the World Series. Each piece is finished off with a sweatband that reads, “A Spike Lee Joint designed for New Era.”
Tim Shanahan, Director of Baseball at New Era Cap, spoke about the exclusive new collaboration. He stated: “We are honored to work with Spike Lee on the New Era x Spike Lee New York Yankees Championship Collection, our largest combined collection to date, which celebrates the New York Yankees 27 World Series titles”.
