Julius Erving is definitely one of the all-time greats ever to play basketball. His athleticism impressed the world, thanks in part to his high-flying scoop layups and groundbreaking dunks. This year Reebok is paying homage to the legend that is Julius Erving, unleashing a special Reebok Question Mid “Dr. J” colorway. The sneaker is slated to arrive with a nod to his former Philadelphia 76ers team, boasting a unique colorway and outstanding attention to detail throughout.
The sneakers feature a base layer of white leather, clean white mesh, and synthetic details on the tongue. The kicks are accompanied by bold red accents that touch the vector branding and the tongue trim and heightened heel panels. Gold details are seen on top of the Reebok branding that adorns the lace loops, as well as the tongue logos. Inside the sneakers is an illustrated caricature of Erving’s head printed across the insoles, while the lower heels have a “6” to nod to his jersey number.
While an official launch date hasn’t been announced by Reebok just yet, it’s likely they will arrive sometime in Spring.
