The 2019/2020 NFL season is in full swing. Many of us are still pulling for our favorite squad, regardless of their current situation and standings. The one and only, Melvin Gordon recently rejoined the Chargers after a brief holdout, though he used his time off wisely. While Melvin Gordon looks to do big things on the field this year, he’s making some big moves off the field as well.
Today Melvin Gordon and Lids have officially unveiled their first, full campaign: Employee of the Month. The video highlights how Melvin spent his holdout, linking up with Lids as a Store Associate and their first #HAthlete. Melvin brought his on-field experience to his in-store colleagues and replacing all NFL hats on display with Chargers hats. He was even tapped to join the store’s flag football team, to which he was happy to oblige.
Melvin indeed does it all and does it well. The hilarious clip finds Melvin showing off his versatility while waiting patiently for his day on the field to come. Now that he’s back, he’s holding it down on the field for the Chargers, as well as for Lids as their first #HAthlete.
