Changing The Game! Disneyland to Replace Annual Pass

Disneyland will soon make some changes to their Annual Passes. Disney Parks recently announced that Disneyland will replace the popular Annual Pass with a membership program dedicated to its biggest fans. Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, recently spoke with the Los Angeles Times. Reportedly the replacement will be introduced “relatively soon.”

Disneyland President Ken Potrock also spoke briefly on the D23 Inside Disney podcast that they will “clearly be launching something by the end of the year.” As of now, details are scarce, though Potrock suggested the program will be focused on “guest demand and experience.” He indicated that officials are analyzing data from research they conducted earlier this year, which suggests that the program “will reflect the behavior of our superfans,” as D’Amaro previously stated.

Disneyland Anaheim reopened on April 30th, but they are following a phased reopening aimed to be “a smart and thoughtful way.” Head over to Disneyland’s website to find out more and keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more regarding the membership program coming soon.
