Characters of Culture! Evgen Čopi Gorišek Releases “MUSCLE MAN” Sculpture

Slovenian-born, Berlin-based artist Evgen Čopi Gorišek has teamed up with VILLAZAN and the art collective, League OTO for something unique and collectible. The artist is known for depicting characters of culture, including boxers, basketball players, streetwear aficionados, adding his trademark smile and style in the process. The artist uses a smile that hides the inner turmoil of the subject.

The first sculptural project by Gorišek depicts an Arnold Schwarzenegger-like “MUSCLE MAN” sculpture that is inspired by one of his earlier paintings called The Secret to Success. The resin cast sculpture measures in at 16.5 inches high and nearly 13 inches wide. The “MUSCLE MAN” comes in an edition of 50 with nine artist proofs and comes in a screen-printed collectors box with a certificate of authenticity that is signed and numbered by the artist.

Fans were able to enter a worldwide raffle that recently ended in order to purchase the $3,300 USD sculpture. The sculpture also comes with a strict no-resale clause for winning contestants for up to three years.
