It’s been almost two years since Chloe x Halle dropped off their debut album. Since releasing ‘The Kids Are Alright,’ the two have been quite busy, putting a bit more focus on their acting careers as opposed to music. However, the duo returns today with something brand new, serving up a contagious new effort entitled “Catch Up.” The track was produced by Mike Will Made-It and features the talented Swae Lee. Driven by some highly contagious melodies and these punchy, mid-tempo drum work, the track provides quite a home for all of the artists to shine.
Chloe x Halle bring their vocal prowess to the track and do so flawlessly. They float upon the instrument and offer up another solid example of their talents. Swae Lee adds nicely to the track, chiming in with his vocal range and smooth penmanship along the way. Mike Will Made-It laced them with something special, which we hope is the beginning of something bigger. No word on where this track may live, though we’re hyped about their upcoming project, The Ungodly Hour.
