CJ Fly – Grew Up

The Pro Era representative, known as CJ Fly, is back. The New York City native is gearing up to drop off a brand new album on March 6th. Today he invades the interwebs with another new single, cooking up something contagious called “Grew Up.” The track finds Mr. Fly pairing up with Haile Supreme, showing off his lyrical prowess and smooth delivery in the process. “Grew Up” is the latest from CJ, following up his singles “Show You” and “City We From” with Conway the Machine.

This time around, CJ takes us for a lyrical ride down memory lane, putting together something meaningful in the process. Along the way, CJ opens up about some tough experiences from his past that led him and his friends to grow up faster. He also spoke about the new single as well. CJ stated: “The song is a reflection of surviving certain experiences in the streets that force you to mature at a young age.”

The coming-of-age record is one worth checking out and certainly one worth really listening to. Check out the new track, “Grew Up,” in the stream below, and look for more from CJ Fly coming soon.
