CJ Fly – ‘Rudebwoy’

The one and only, CJ Fly is back. Today the Pro Era representative is back with something new, linking up with Statik Selektah for a brand new album. The project is entitled ‘Rudebwoy,’ a solid debut album from the lyricist, which shows his depth and prowess behind the mic. The project comes loaded with 13 tracks. Along the way, CJ drops off singles, including “Grew Up” with Haile Supreme, “City We From” with Conway the Machine, and the title track with Joey Bada$$.

The album was produced entirely by Statik Selektah, who also happens to be working on his next album, The Balancing Act. ‘Rudebwoy’ also features talented artists like the rest of the Pro Era crew, as well as Lexipaz, T’nah, and Oshun. Some of our favorites from the album include “Show You,” “Block Party,” with Kirk Knight, and “LV Ascot.” CJ does his thing and does it well, putting together quite a solid showcase in the process.

Check out the new project in the stream below and look for much more from Statik Selektah coming very soon. In the meantime, be sure to check out the latest installment of our weekly playlist, ‘A Curation of Sound.’
