The good folks over at ASICS are back at it again. Today the iconic sportswear imprint is back with a new take on an old classic. The GEL-Lyte III OG returns, doing so in two new neutral colorways that are sure to elevate your footwear collection. The latest iterations arrive shortly after the model was retooled in a new red “Daruma Doll” inspired motif.
The first of two new pairs come rocking a dark aesthetic with exquisite attention to detail. The sneaker is seen with a stark black leather upper, which is accented by hits of white. The contrasting elements are seen on the mid-foot netting, outlines of the tiger stripes, “GEL-LYTE III” heel branding, and sock liners. Tonal ASICS branding makes a nice touch, while the outsole extends the all-black approach of the design.
The second pair takes on a two-toned look comprised of lighter neutrals. The upper is crafted from supple leather while rocking an all-white aesthetic throughout. The sneakers are contrasted by details of soft gray seen on the liners, mid-foot mesh, lateral rear text hits, and the midsoles. More darker accents are seen in the midsole, adding a smooth contrast in the process.
The new sneakers are sleek and stylish, making them a welcome addition to any collection of kicks.
