The Danish outerwear label Rains is back in the news, diving deep into the spring and summer footwear market. The imprint has aligned with the French boot manufacturer Palladium for a brand new collection that was first teased in Rains’ Spring/Summer 2022 lookbook. The new collection features unique takes on two of Palladium’s designs, including the Pallashock and Pampa silhouettes.
The new iterations have been retooled with the fabrics and colorways it has become renowned for. The Pallashock Rain Shoe arrives in black, “Fossil” or “Cement,” and is built on a lightweight low-cut outsole paired with an EVA midsole. Further details include a perforated sock liner that offers comfort, cushioning, and breathability. The Pampa Boot features a similar EVA-cushioned midsole and heel cup, while the uppers are crafted from ballistic nylon canvas and stretchy neoprene. The outsoles are reflected on the uppers, boasting TPU welded frames alongside two-tone laces, rubberized hooks, eyelets, and lace ends. Subtle branding can be found towards the heel, finishing things off with a dose of style.
The collection is clean and eye-catching and a perfect pick-up for Spring and Summer. Take a closer look at the new collaboration in the images and pick up your favorites starting April 1st at the Rains website. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding footwear coming very soon.
