When it comes to classic footwear, there may not be a single shoe more impactful than the Air Jordan 1. This iconic silhouette has been revamped, retooled, and reworked in several unique colorways. Today we get a look at the latest iteration of the Jordan Centre Court, which draws heavy inspiration from the legendary AJ1. The Jordan Centre Court returns in a new colorway reminiscent of the Air Jordan 1 “Couture.”
The “White/University Red” iteration comes rocking a clean yet contrasting look, boasting exceptional design cues throughout. The sneaker features a rounded toe box, while premium white leather construction on the upper is detailed with a crinkled aesthetic.
The sneakers feature “AIR JORDAN” debossed on the tongue, while the wings logo is found on the heel tab. The sneaker is also host to ZOOM AIR marked insoles, while a stitched pattern replicates the Air Jordan ball-and-wings motif. What sets this sleek design apart is a bright red stripe that wraps around the heel. This provides a contrast of color and a striking look, elevating the sneaker in the process. The design is finished with a “Sail” tone AJ1-style sole unit, adding a vintage approach to the mix.
Take a closer look at the eye-catching new colorway in the images and look for the sneakers to drop sometime in early 2021. Head over to Nike to find out more and keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more sneakers, shoes, and footwear coming very soon.
