Another day, another new drop from the good folk over at ASICS. This time around, ASICS has aligned with Kiko Kostadinov for a stunning new design known as the FN1-2 Gel-Nimbus 22. The sneaker has been reimagined in two new colors that were inspired by the concept of “Retro Futurism.” For this eye-catching new capsule, ASICS explores the duality between archived fashion silhouettes and Japanese workwear.
The FN1-S Gel-Nimbus 22 has been re-envisioned as a running shoe with performance functionality. The silhouette is enhanced with a Future Tech finish to create something unique and eye-catching. The retro-inspired modern design offers details of the brand’s design lineage, boasting a technical mesh upper. The colorful upper is accented by shiny eyelets and metallic undertones.
The sneakers are also host to Flytefoam Propel technology in the midsole, offering responsive cushioning. The blend of performance running design is offset with vivid color pops, and a glittered rendering on the GEL technology cushioning unit.
