Color x Craft | teamLab Borderless Brings ‘Forest of Resonating Lamps’ To Shanghai

After sharing plans regarding an immersive art museum inside The Venetian Macao, teamLab is back with more big news. Today the art collective has announced a new museum in Huangpu District, Shanghai, which is slated to open next month. Dubbed teamLab Borderless Shanghai, the exhibition will find 50 teamLab artworks on display. The showcase will even include never-before-seen works as well as some of its most popular interactive ones. Earlier this year, teamLab unveiled its multi-sensory Forest of Resonating Lamps in Kyoto.

The art collective is now bringing this immersive experience to the new museum in Shanghai. The space will also showcase interactive digital installations from three more of teamLab’s worlds. Those include the Borderless world, Microcosmoses, and En Tea House. The exhibition will open on November 5th. While we patiently await more, check out the eye-catching video in the clip below.

Get a glimpse of what to expect from the new space and head over to the collective’s website for more information. Take a closer look at the eye-catching installation in the video below and stay tuned for more from the art world coming soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more eye-catching art and design coming very soon.
