Color x Craftsmanship! Crystal Wagner’s ‘Ingnis Fatuus’ Installation

Known for her colorful, sprawling sculptural installations, Crystal Wagner has done it again. She recently unveiled a new public artwork entitled ‘Inis Fatuus,’ crafted from vintage table cloths and chicken wire. This unique and colorful installation seems to take over the stone walls of the Château de Belcastel in France.

The piece was created with the use of one ton of recycled materials and took only several days to be completed on-site. The design is considered to be one of her largest installations to date. Along with the installation, another exhibition is taking place inside the castle, entitled “Hemisphere.” The presentation was made in collaboration with AFA Gallery and will feature artworks and limited edition prints depicting Wagner’s compelling alien-like creations.

You can take a much closer look at ‘Ingnis Fatuus’ in the video below. If you are in the interested in learning more, head over to the AFA Gallery immediately. The installation can be found at Château de Belcastel in Belcastel, France. Stay tuned for more outstanding examples of art coming soon.
