As part of its NYFW runway show, the athletic womenswear brand Chromat rejoined Reebok for something special. The two created three special iterations of the Instapump Fury, rocking bold, vivid hues and stunning attention to detail. The sneakers pull inspiration by the gender-inclusive show space, which artfully toes the line between colorful and gaudy. The sneakers arrive in three bold colorways, including “Miami Red,” “Turf Teal,” and “Chromat Blue.”
Each pair uses rich base hues, which are combined with beautiful overlays. The “Miami Red” offers contrasting gradient fades. The kicks boast orange to pink on the upper, and yellow/orange/red on the synthetic cage. The “Turf Teal” iteration includes a Sprite-like gradient with a cool teal base. Finishing things up is the “Chromat Blue,” which opts for rich dark colors, bold patterns, and standout red accents. All three sneakers utilize a uniform Pump fit system, embroidered Chromat branding on the toe box, and a split two-piece midsole.
The three-shoe collection follows up a handful of outstanding collaborations from Reebok, but it’s their boldest yet. So, for anyone looking to add some color to their kick game, this is a great place to start.
