The good folks over at Converse have returned, and they do so to honor the LGBTQIA+ community. The iconic sportswear imprint returns with their latest Pride Collection, which makes the sixth collection from the label. Inspired by everyone’s individual journey of finding joy and freedom, the capsule includes a selection of classic footwear.
The range consists of colorful renditions of Chuck 70 and the Chuck Taylor All-Star. The All-Star comes in three variations, including a high-top, low-top, and platform. The collection also features the Run Star Hike, which makes its first Pride collection appearance. Converse also created a unique new slide for Spring and Summer.
The designs are a homage to the Pride flag, with rainbow graphics seen on each silhouette. The Run Star Hike features a subdued approach with colorful hits on the laces and trim. However, the Chuck Taylor All-Star Hi and Lows boast a bolder and more eye-catching aesthetic.
Additionally, the Converse By You platform lets you customize the “All-Star” patches, license plates, and laces. Converse has aligned with the It Gets Better Project, offering a portion of the proceeds for social media creators and grants that will benefit Ali Forney Center, BAGLY, and OUT MetroWest.
