Coming Soon | Disney’s Star Wars Hotel To Open In 2021

The good folks over at Disney are ready to transport people to a galaxy far away. Today the word comes down that an opening day for its highly-anticipated Star Wars hotel has been announced. The hotel will be built right next to its current Galaxy’s Edge theme park in Orlando, Florida. According to the new blog post, the hotel is slated to open in 2021. The hotel will feature a “2-night, all-immersive adventure” that brings guests to “a galaxy far far away.”

Upon arriving at the simulated space dock dubbed the Galactic Starcruiser Terminal, visitors will be transported onto a cruiser known as the Halcyon. This is a “massive ship that is much too large to land on any planet.” During your stay, you can take on lightsaber training, as well as drinks at the Silver C Lounge. Guests also have the chance to adventure in the Engineering Room while also taken to the Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, aka the Galaxy’s Edge theme park via “transport ships.” The completely-immersive experience is certainly unique, and something Star Wars fans will really embrace and enjoy.
