Coming Soon! March At #OurOcala’s Marion Theatre

The beginning of a new month means a whole new slew of programming coming to #OurOcala and the Marion Theatre. With March upon us, today we take a look at the movies that Ocala’s Marion Theatre has in store for us. This month is loaded with classic movies, film events, and themed programming. Along the way, we are treated to everything from westerns to John Travolta favorites, all thanks to March’s corporate sponsor Chandra Smile Designs.

The first film event in March is Classics and Cocktails: Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Guests can also enjoy a film for a great cause. On March 18 at 5:30, Ready Player One will be shown as part of Duke Energy’s Reels and Reading Program. All guests receive free popcorn and can make an in-kind donation of school supplies or a cash gift to support Marion County Literacy Council when they attend any of the film’s showings. The series is a part of the Duke Energy Sponsorship to Create Powerful Communities at the Marion Theatre.

Ocala resident and award-winner actor John Travolta will be on the big screen several times this month in fan favorites like Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Urban Cowboy, and Pulp Fiction. The rest of the month features excellent films such as Inside Out, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, City Slickers, Frozen, No Country for Old Men, Chicago, and many more.
