We can’t speak for everyone, but we are hyped about the release of The Matrix Resurrections. Warner Bros. is back with a new trailer for the upcoming film, bringing back one of the original trilogy’s fan-favorite characters: Laurence Fishburne‘s Morpheus. The new clip features Keanu Reeves‘ Neo as he gets reacquainted with the Matrix and the duality of his life.
Jessica Henwick’s Bugs serves as his tour guide, taking Neo through different dimensions and locations. Neo walks into a room to meet the film’s new Morpheus, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who plays to him clips of his past. The clip is a nod to Fishburne, as his version of the character also flashes on the screen, alongside a younger Neo and Trinity.
