Conway the Machine is back. Today, the wordsmith returns with his major-label debut, unleashing ‘God Don’t Make Mistakes.’ After serving up nothing but heat with his Griselda family, Conway signed a deal with Shady Records back in 2017. Since then, he’s been on a hell of a run, unleashing projects such as G.O.A.T., the Blakk Tape, the Everybody is F.O.O.D. trilogy, La Maquina, and From King to a God.
Now, after serving up his Greetings Earthlings mixtape, Conway serves up his long-awaited solo Shady Records debut. The album is the third Griselda release under the Shady umbrella, and it comes loaded with twelve new tracks that you need in your life. The album features an incredible selection of sounds, including production from Alchemist on “Piano Love,” “Stressed,” and “John Woo Flick.”
Elsewhere the wordsmith is joined by a who’s who of lyrical talents. Along the way, Conway links up with the likes of Benny the Butcher and Westside Gunn, while Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Beanie Sigel, T.I., Jill Scott, Daringer, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Hit-Boy, Bink! and a few others add their talents. Conway puts together an incredible selection for our listening pleasures. Some of our favorite standouts include “Tear Gas” with Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, “Wild Chapters” with T.I. and Novel, and “Chanel Pearls” featuring Jill Scott.
