For 800 years, wristwatches have been a staple accessory and a fashion item; besides keeping people on time. With all of the NFT hype that has swept the globe, today, we get a look at a 3D NFT watch project that bridges facets of art, technology, and horology. BETMAN has created a series of NFT watches entitled the TIMELESS WATCH CLUB, which debuted two models of GMT and SUBMARINER.
BETMAN allows collectors to bypass the high barriers to purchasing luxury watches, allowing them to create and customize their own timepieces. The BETMAN team has created a total of 108 unique components such as straps, bezels, dials, and hands that can be customized on 48 GMT models and 60 Submariner models. A few of BETMAN’s virtual watches will also pay tribute to some of the most successful brands in the NFT world.
Each watch model and part will only be sold once and will not be reissued in the future. Among the 1,120 components on offer, collectors can combine four parts with the same serial number to create a Prime Watch, of which only 280 are available. BETMAN also encourages players to look at the Prime Watch on the official website to determine the parts they want. Once a player decides to customize the watch, the original and components will be burned together and become a watch with new features.
