The unadulterated and undeniable, Curren$y is back. Today the lyricist makes his return with a brand new project alongside Thelonious Martin. The two have come together for a brand new EP entitled ‘3 Piece Set.’ The track finds both artists bringing their a-game, Curren$y behind the mic, and Mr. Martin behind the boards. The project includes a trio of new tracks, as one would expect. Martin provides the production for “the quick opener “52 Seconds”, a Nipsey Hussle and Pop Smoke tribute,” Survivor’s Remorse,” which finishing things off with “Rag Top Love Affair.”
Along the way, both Curren$y and Thelonious showcase their respective talents. The producer laces the MC with some exceptional backdrops, coming together for something harmonious and sleek. Curren$y never lets us down, and there is something special about his laid back flow over Mr. Martin’s cool production. These two have created something infectious, to say the least.
