Custom Creations | Weaver Customs’ 1941 Dodge Power Wagon “Full Metal Jacket”

We all know our grandfather wouldn’t feel right behind the wheel of whatever softened, computer-controlled, seltzer beer culture, parking lot show truck you’re rolling coal in. Trucks used to be tough. They had a job to do, or they had War to win. If the back of the truck sat lower than the front, it was overloaded or broken, not cool.

Weaver Customs knows this, and they prove it with their latest build. Their 1941 Dodge Power Wagon “Full Metal Jacket” is a modern rendition of an American classic. A slightly refined take on a military made piece of history. Featuring all of the original aesthetics and fine-tuning the power in “Power Wagon” make this truck something special.

Powered by a Cummins 3.9-liter turbocharged diesel bolted to a GM GM TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. It all sits on a custom chassis with 30-inch shocks and 20-inch wheels wrapped in fat ass Maxtrek Mud Trac All-Terrain tires. The seam shaved body with a Brazilian hardwood bed with custom nickel hardware finish off an exterior look that would make Steve Rodgers salute.

Inside the cab, the attention to detail only keeps getting more rad. Each seat features its own Colt 1911 frenched into the floorboard. Hydes Leather wraps the seats and door panels. Also tucked inside is a complete audio system by Kicker. Finish it up in hand brushed nickel accents, and it’s a wrap.

This build is set to be liberated to the highest bidder at auction in early June. To get a look at some of the most rad builds coming out of Utah, check out weavercustoms.com. For the best from the rest, stick with theculturecurators.com
