The one and only, Deadmau5, makes his return. Today the musical mastermind is back with a brand new track, unleashing a smooth and unique new track entitled “Pomegranate.” This isn’t your typical Deadmau5 track, as it finds the iconic EDM specialist pairing up with The Neptunes. The track arrives after The Neptunes announced their big slate of plans for 2020. After announcing that they’ve been working with Jay-Z and Lil Uzi Vert, Brandy, and even Snoh Aalegra, The Neptunes return in unique form.
Deadmau5 recently spoke about the new single, “Pomegranate,” with Zane Lowe on Apple Music. He stated: “The track without Pharrell singing on it has actually been kicking around for five years just kinda sitting in my burner pile of ideas.” The artist said, “I caught wind of them getting the band back together last year, and I thought ‘hey, let me look through my spank bank of stuff and see if anything catches your ear’ and Pharrell had a listen to that old demo… then we met up in the studio.”
