It’s been far too long since we got some new music from Dej Loaf. After a bit of a hiatus of sorts and a few guest features, the Detroit native is back. This time around, she serves up a contagious new single entitled “No Ceiling.” The track is from her long-awaited debut album, Sell Sole II, which dropped this past Friday. The new single, “No Ceiling,” finds Ms. Loaf linking up with Gunna, cooking up something smooth, soulful, and quite contagious, to say the least.
The single is pushed by these contagious melodies and some crisp, clean drum work that supplies the duo with an incredible home to excel. Both artists bring their a-game and put together a solid example of their respective abilities. Def brings her smooth delivery and effortless appeal, while Gunna offers a dose of his singing/rapping, riding the beat like a seasoned vet along the way.
The track is the latest from Dej Loaf and her Sell Sole II project. It’s one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on either. The rest of the album, which dropped Friday, features the likes of Big Sean, Rick Ross, Griselda, 6lack, and more.
