Detailed Designs | James Jean Creates ‘Maze’ Figure

The Taiwanese American artist James Jean is back in the news. The artist has created a special edition sculpture that celebrates and honors another of the Impressionism period. The ‘Maze’ figure is the principal character in his 2008 painting of the same name. It is inspired by Edgar Degas’ Little Dancer of Fourteen Years. The sculpture personifies every detail of the character, offering something unique, eye-catching, and striking, to say the least.

The patinated bronze figure also features a stick and maze, which are crafted from gold plated stainless steel. Intricate and detailed, the sculpture is a perfect representation of the artist’s painting. The figure arrives at an edition of 25 and measures 30cm by 16.5cm. Detailed and dope, this is one piece worth adding to your collection.

The piece is priced at approximately $9269 USD, and you can find out more from Avant Arte’s official website. Take a closer look at the figure below and be sure to register for its release asap. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for much more from the art department coming very soon.
