The newest signee to Top Dawg Entertainment, Doechii, has returned. The Tampa-raised artist is the first female to sign to TDE, and before the ink dried, she dropped off her first single. The track is called “Persuasive,” and Doechii doesn’t disappoint. The artist shows off her talents behind the mic, serving up her first single with her new label.
Doechii also spoke about signing with TDE and following in the footsteps of the label’s superstar roster. She took to Twitter and stated: “I’m honored to be a part of the family.” She went on to add, “Proud to carry on the legacy of hip hop with TDE family!”
As for her new single, “Persuasive,” the artist cooks up something incredible. The track finds Doechii showing off her talents on top of this bouncy, pop-inspired backdrop. The pulsing drums and captivating melodic elements provide a solid home for the artist to do her thing. She shows off her smooth approach and delivers something that is definitely worth your time and effort.
