New Friday means new music! Today Toronto’s very own, Drake, makes his return with something new for our listening enjoyment. After serving up his Dark Lane Demo Tapes, Drizzy served a bevy of guest features. Since then, he’s apparently been working in the studio, cooking up some new material. Today the artist is back with a brand new single entitled “Laugh Now Cry Later.” The track finds Drake linking up with Chicago’s very own, Lil Durk, providing us with something impressive.
The track appears to be the first release from Drake’s upcoming album, which looks to be titled ‘Certified Lover Boy.’ The track finds he and Lil Durk sharing one hell of a backdrop, providing us with a dose of their unadulterated style and delivery along the way. The track comes to life with a fitting set of visuals as well, which was directed by Dave Meyers, shot at the Nike World Headquarters. As the fellas do their thing, we also get cameos from Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr., and Marshawn Lynch.
