In case you didn’t know, we enjoy a great drink. It’s probably no secret by now, but we thought a reminder was in order. Today we get a look at a unique drink recipe created in collaboration with Nobu Downtown NYC and One With Life Organic Tequila (OWL). Dubbed Nobu Downtown’s Pina Caliente, this recipe is a brilliant Winter cocktail that is sure to add some flavor to your life. Nobu’s beverage director Arie Gunawan just added the “Pina Caliente” to its cocktail menu, boasting an unexpected take on a winter libation heating things up in the process.
The unique drink recipe calls for a blend of spicy jalapeño, savory cilantro, pineapple, Yuzo juice, and the addition of Calpico Japanese citrus milk. These elements come together to complement the citrus and herbal notes in OWL’s Blanco tequila. The result is something smooth and unique, offering a potent yet easy to drink cocktail in the process. Arie Gunawan recommends using One with Life Organic Blanco Tequila for its unique flavor profile that can stand up to the more complex flavors of cold-weather drinking.
One With Life Tequila offers ultra-premium, small-batch, USDA certified Organic and Kosher Blanco and Extra Anejo expressions. OWL is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, sustainably handcrafted at Tequila Las Americas in the heart of Jalisco. The tequila was born of equal parts love for the spirit and desire to spread a message of peace and living in the present moment.
