Drinks & Design! Maestro Dobel Reveals Partnership with Design Miami

With Miami Art Week 2021 in full swing, Maestro Dobel Tequila is back with some big news. The label recently announced a multi-year U.S. partnership as the ‘Official Tequila’ of Design Miami/. Design Miami/ has become a global forum for collectible design and an internationally renowned design fair. Maestro Dobel was the first Cristalino tequila to market and continues to innovate as a modern-day tequila.

Born from 11 generations of tequila-making legacy, the brand introduced the world’s first smoked silver tequila with Humito and the first pechuga tequila with Pavito. Just as Dobel pushes innovation in its tequilas, Maestro Dobel Artpothecary is a creative platform and series of immersive experiences which celebrate contemporary Mexican Art and Hospitality.

The goal is to recognize fellow Mexican creative visionaries and makers who push the boundaries in their respective crafts. Lander Otegui, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Proximo Spirits, stated: “With a deep-rooted passion for the arts and an ongoing commitment to champion those who are masters of their crafts, 11th generation founder Juan Dobel and Maestro Dobel are proud to bring the convergence of art, design, and hospitality to Design Miami/ – providing Artpothecary a global platform and live experience to spotlight some of the most innovative Mexican creatives in their fields.”

Artpothecary comes to life at Design Miami/ through ‘The Fruit Chemist,’ an epicurean and design-centric experience in which rare and unusual Mexican fruits are paired to complement Maestro Dobel’s smooth range of tequilas. Anónimo Colectivo Founder and Managing Director Alejandra Martinez takes the helm as Artpothecary Creative Director, curating the vision while commissioning Mexico-based artists to share their work.

The experience will be adorned with goods from Mexico City-based contemporary furniture and design studio ATRA FORM. At the same time, Alexander Diaz Andersson offers minimalist yet inventive furniture pieces inspired by his Swedish and Mexican roots. The experience will also feature an exclusively curated menu by globally renowned Chef Jorge Vallejo of Mexico City’s Quintonil.

For more information, visit Maestro Dobel immediately and pay them a visit at Design Miami 2021. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the intersection of art and design.
