Easy On The Eyes | Instagram Introduces Dark Mode

Always looking for ways to elevate our user experience, Instagram arrives with some new updates and upgrades. Similar to a number of other apps, Instagram has been updated to feature iOS 13’s new dark mode. ‘Dark mode’ aims to alleviate the strain on your eyes. It offers a more visually pleasing feed with less bright color. The new features essentially invert the color scheme of the app.

The white backdrop usually seen is now seen in black, while the text is seen in white and different colors for links and more. The new feature is catching some attention too. The realms of social media have been ablaze with chatter about dark mode with everyone sharing screenshots in amazement. Unlike Twitter, however, you can switch the dark mode on and off in the Instagram app itself. The option will coincide with the system-wide settings on your Phone. This is a common issue at the moment, as most apps are implementing dark mode support for the first time.

To try out dark mode for Instagram, be sure to have the latest version of the iOS app, and yes, the feature is also available for Android. Check out Dark Mode on IG and stay tuned with us here at The Culture Curators for more updates and upgrades coming soon.
