ESPN & NBA Partner On “Victory Goggles”

The NBA continues to celebrate its 75th anniversary. After aligning with Louis Vuitton, the organization is back with a new venture with ESPN, unveiling its “Victory Goggles.” The newly designed accessories feature gold-covered, large-framed goggles with stylish attention to detail. The construction consists of a gold-accented and mirrored front, with gold trim and a black, stretch-fabric outer band. The band features a diamond-shaped emblem with a centered “NBA 75” logo alongside ESPN’s logo.

As a prize, the team that wins the finals will receive the goggles, which were conceptualized by Arts & Letters Co. and created by Matador Project. ESPN’s Vice President of Sports Marketing, Emeka Ofodile, spoke about the collaboration. She stated: “We knew we wanted to take our partnership with the NBA to the next level for the 75th anniversary season, and we felt like developing customized victory goggles would be a great touch.” She went on to add, “It represents the final leg of a long journey for everyone from us at ESPN to fans to the players and staff of the winning team, and we’re looking forward to watching whoever wins celebrate in style.”

The 2022 NBA Finals are going on now, with the Golden State Warriors battling the Boston Celtics. The winning team walks away with the Larry O’Brien trophy and “Victory Goggles.” Take a closer look at the design in the images below and keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more NBA news coming very soon.
