Laws Whiskey House, the award-winning Colorado distillery, is back with some big news. Today the word comes down that the distiller has expanded into the Florida market. Breakthru Beverage Group will distribute the entire Laws Whiskey portfolio throughout the Sunshine State. This move follows the brand’s warm reception into the Georgia market in September, signifying the evolution of the Laws Whiskey brand.
Alan Laws, Founder at Laws Whiskey House, spoke about the news. He stated: “We want to not only introduce drinkers to the robust flavors of Colorado but showcase to Florida whiskey lovers an incredible array of whiskies that display the high standards and craftsmanship behind Laws Whiskey House.” Mr. Laws went on to add, “After a challenging year for craft distilleries, we are truly excited to be able to bring our award-winning Laws Four Grain Straight Bourbon and Laws San Luis Valley Straight Rye, along with other limited-edition expressions, to fellow passionate whiskey enthusiasts as we continue to establish our brand’s presence in new markets.”
For anyone unfamiliar, Laws is a whiskey driven, grain to glass distillery. They combine regional heirloom grains, dedication to the traditional process, and a no-shortcuts approach, creating award-winning whiskey. The brand pays homage to the traditional, age-old techniques honed in Kentucky, though the spirit is genuinely Colorado-born. Laws’ distinct flavor profile comes from American mother grains carefully sourced family-owned Colorado farms. The aging process also offers a distinct Colorado twist, while the spirits age in 53 gallon charred American white oak barrels.
