Eye-Catching Exclusives | Alexander-John’s NYC-Inspired PUMA Ralph Sampsons

It’s time to elevate your footwear collection with some stylish classics. PUMA is back, linking up with Alexander-John and Saks Fifth Avenue. Designer Alexander-John is partnering with Saks Fifth Avenue and PUMA for something special. The trio have come together to create the sneaker brand’s newest Ralph Sampson silhouette. The sneaker is created exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue dubbed the “Intersection Pack.” The pack is a blend of street style and luxury fashion.

The pack features two eye-catching colorways, one dubbed the “Off Duty,” the other called the “Detour.” The “Off Duty” features a taxi yellow colorway with matte black houndstooth details and black denim laces. The second colorway, “Detour” boasts a bright safety orange colorway with indigo-dyed denim laces by Aglit Italy.

Other details such as orange stitching blends into the bold design. The influence comes from the taxis and constant construction sites around NYC. “NYC” is then printed on the sides of both shoes. The collaboration hints at new strategies from Saks as they aim to draw in millennials with streetwear influenced collections.

The Saks-exclusive PUMA collaboration has no confirmed price yet, though they will be available for purchase on August 8th. For an added bonus, with any purchase of the “Intersection Pack,” you get a limited-edition bag designed by Alexander-John. A real win-win. Take a closer look at the PUMA collection in the images below and pick up your favorites shortly.

While you’re at it, be sure to check out New Balance’s latest creation. They recently revealed a colorful pair of 998’s inspired by the Milky Way. This isn’t one pair that we’d suggest sleeping on. So act fast!
