Bronx representative and legendary MC, Fat Joe is back. The wordsmith has been in the game for well over two and a half decades, and he’s still keeping the new material coming. The wordsmith is back, pairing up with Dre, of Cool & Dre, for a new project entitled ‘Family Ties.’ The new album finds Don Cartagena unleashing a collection of all-new material, showing off his growth and his effortless appeal behind the mic.
Fat Joe cooks up something impressive, providing eleven new tracks in total. The album includes previously released cuts like “Deep,” “Yes,” featuring Cardi B and Anuel AA, as well as the Lil’ Wayne-assisted single, “Pullin.” The project also includes guest features from the likes of Eminem, Bryson Tiller, Jeremih, Remy Ma, Mary J Blige, Ty Dolla $ign, and Big Bank DTE. Some of our favorite tracks are “Hands on You” with Jeremih and Bryson Tiller, “Lord Above” with Eminem and Mary J. Blige,” and “Drive” with Ty Dolla $ign & Jeremih. Fat Joe does his thing and provides something quite contagious from front to back.
