When it comes to spicy chicken sandwiches, the battle is on. The good folks over at Wendy’s are back with something new, taking the battle to new heights. The iconic fast-food chain has aligned with Pringles for a new flavored chip. Today we get our first look at Pringles Wendy’s Spicy Chicken crisps.
Carl Loredo, Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company, spoke about the collaboration. He stated: “Pringles Wendy’s Spicy Chicken crisps perfectly encapsulate everything fans have come to know, love, and expect from Wendy’s iconic chicken sandwich.” He went on to add, “Wendy’s fans can now enjoy our insanely flavorful Spicy Chicken Sandwich in their crisps to satisfy taste-buds until their next restaurant visit.”
Pringles has the expertise in putting together unique flavors, including “BBQ” to “Pizza” to “Sour Cream and Onion.” The chips mimic the chicken fiery spice blend we’ve come to know and love. The limited-edition Pringles Wendy’s Spicy Chicken flavor will be available on the shelves at retailers nationwide starting in June.
