Flavor Savers! Shake Shack Shares Korean-Style Fried Chick’n

Always looking to serve up something new, Shake Shack is back! This time around, the iconic food chain is back to announce its latest limited-edition menu offering. Today we get our first look at the new Korean-Style Fried Chick’n. The item draws inspiration from a trip the Shake Shack culinary team took to South Korea upon opening their first location in the country.

The latest offering includes kimchi, made from fermented napa cabbage, daikon radish, carrots, garlic, Asian pear, green onion, onion, and sea salt. However, the chain is also offering a sticky, spicy, sweet, umami, fermented gochujang glaze. The Korean-style Fried Chick’n sandwich boasts a spicy-sweet gochujang glazed crispy chicken breast placed on top of white kimchi slaw.

The sandwich is held together between a potato bun for good measure. The rest of the menu items include Korean-style Gochujang Chick’n Bites, Korean-style Gochujang Fries, and Black Sugar Vanilla Shake. The shake itself features caramel toasted black sugar mixed vanilla frozen custard topped with whipped cream and black sugar syrup.

The new menu is slated to be available at Shake Shack locations nationwide from January 5 until April 5. Find out more from Shake Shack and keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the Food & Drink menu!
