The way to move around the urban sprawl is about to change. While we’re still waiting on flying cars, the next best thing could be on the way. Today we get a look at the Vertical Aerospace Seraph eVTOL Aircraft. This unique concept might be the future of transportation, offering a small, effective, and easy way to get around. Vertical take-off and landing aircraft seem to be the future of urban mobility. This particular design was built to test new technologies and systems for an upcoming passenger model.
The Seraph is a forward-thinking machine designed with function and portability. The aircraft can carry loads up to 550 lbs, hit speeds of nearly 50 mph, and has already been granted flight permission by the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority. The company is aiming for commercial certification, which would open the door for more applications. The company continues to test models with wheels and even floats, which makes the machine capable of water landings.
