Back in 2019, the creative minds over at Anthenea debuted their eye-catching floating suite. Well, today, the brand is back in the news as the Anthenea is getting ready to set sail. The floating eco-pods were inspired by the 1977 Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me, and soon they will make their way across the globe as luxury condos.
These unique floating suites are perfect for water-bound nomads, offering marine habitats designed by naval architect Jean-Michel Duacancelle. Created to be completely autonomous, the Anthenea floating suites feature solar panels, a saltwater filtration setup, and a water treatment system.
Each interior comes equipped with a wet bar, lounge, and a master bedroom with a circular soaking tub. Unrivaled views come from glazing that offers a 360-degree view, while the upper level opens to reveal a solarium and bar with seating for 12. Eye-catching, functional, and futuristic, these floating suites are a unique way to get away from reality.
Take a closer look at the suites in the image up top and head over to Anthenea to find out more right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more travel and architecture news coming very soon.
