Form x Function | The Upper Playground X Chrome Industries 20th Anniversary Citizen Messenger

Collaborations are nothing new in the world of style and fashion. Today Chrome Industries is back in the news feed. They have partnered with Upper Playground to celebrate UP’s 20th anniversary. In doing so, the two have come together to create a limited-edition bag design. 20 limited edition Citizen messenger bags were handmade by Chrome bag makers in Chicago and San Francisco. These eye-catching and functional bags feature a bevy of details that take things to a new level.

The bags boast a custom tarp liner printed with Upper Playground’s 20th-anniversary logo pattern. There is also a 20th-anniversary patch and an inside panel with Jeremy Fish’s “Fowl Mood” owl wallpaper. This serves as a throwback to Chrome’s 2009 Artist Series bags with Upper Playground featuring the work of Jeremy Fish and Sam Flores. The new bags offer a stylish way to carry your essentials while celebrating 20 years of quality and craftsmanship.

The Upper Playground X Chrome Industries bags will retail for $180. But, due to limited quantities, they will be sold by lottery only online and through Chrome Hubs and UP stores. Check out the eye-catching new collaboration in the images below and head over to Chrome Industries’ website to enter the lottery or Upper Playground. While you’re at it, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more style and accessories coming soon.
