It has been far too long since Frank Ocean blessed our ears with any new music. The artist introduced himself to the world with a large selection of previously recorded material, years ago. However, since his releases have been much more sporadic, planned, and prepared. Today Mr. Ocean returns, and he does so with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. Today Frank serves up a smooth new single called “DHL.”
The track was premiered on the eighth episode of his Beats 1 Radio show, blonded. The track is a loosie, as far as we know. The track serves as a special treat for the comeback episode of the show, though Frank serves up something smooth and infectious. As usual, Frank Ocean delivers a dose of his fresh, impressive vocal talents, getting a fitting instrumental to excel upon. While we’d love to tell you that he’s working on a new album, we don’t want to miss inform. We’re as hopeful as you are, but this one is just a loosie, though one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on.
