The good folks over at Pepsi are back at it yet again. This time around, the brand returns with a new permanent fixture to their drink lineup, their first in five years. Pepsi Mango was previously a limited-time offering during spring. However, today the word comes down that Pepsi is adding the flavor to their permanent selection of beverages. This marks the brand’s first permanent fixture in five years.
The drink is created with mango fruit and Pepsi, flawlessly blending tropical flavors with crisp cola fizz. Customers will have the option of getting the blend in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans or 20-ounce bottles. The company will also kick off a matchmaking social media series for singles. The campaign will feature singles with bio descriptions and contact information to encourage introductions.
Vice President of Marketing at Pepsi, Todd Kaplan, spoke about the new flavor. He stated: “Mango is one of the most popular fruits in the world, and it serves as the perfect complement to Pepsi, creating an irresistible combination that our fans can enjoy everywhere throughout the year.”
