Future Forms! Oakley Reveals Warrior-Inspired Xeus Eyewear

Back at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Oakley revealed the OVERTHETOP performance sunglasses. Today, the label is back, returning for Tokyo 2020 with a new style they hope to change the game again. This time around, Oakley reveals the all-new Xeus model. The design draws inspiration from the kabuto of samurai, the legendary warrior of the Olympics’ host country.

The new shades will be worn by select Team Oakley athletes across an array of events. The Xeus is designed to provide inspiration and unlock the mindset of a god. The sunglasses use Oakley’s PhysioMorphic Geometry to create a lens design, offering optimized coverage and frame-like retention. The Xeus is the brand’s third new style of the year and features a Prizm 24K lens that’s been engineered to enhance color and detail.

Check out the eye-catching design in the images below and look for the Xeus to arrive globally on August 12. Head over to Oakley to find out more and keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the intersection of lifestyle, sports and style.
