Game Changers | Apple Reveals In-House Face Shield Design

As the coronavirus pandemic has gripped the world over the past few months, we’ve seen more companies changing their focus. With a shortage of essential medical gear for medical professionals and civilians, companies are stepping up and getting creative. We’ve seen companies creating masks and more, and now Apple is getting in the game. The tech giant recently revealed its in-house face shields, thanks to a post on its support website.

Unlike most medical shields, Apple’s is quite understated. The design consists of three parts, a forehead band, face shield, and latex-free silicone strap. This makes the equipment easy to pack, adjust, and sanitize. This would also make the manufacturing process much more comfortable and less time-consuming. Simple, fast, and practical, this is precisely what medical professionals need.

Apple is just the latest company to step in, as we’ve seen adidas, New Balance, and others do the same. Check out the images below for a look at Apple’s in-house face shields and look for more COVID-19 protection coming soon. Keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from Apple as well.
