Game Changers | Kyle Kuzma Signs Five-Year Deal With PUMA

While we as basketball fans gear up for the start of the 2019/2020 NBA season, Kyle Kuzma is making moves. Today the word comes down that the Los Angeles Lakers star has inked a five-year endorsement deal with PUMA. Kyle joins fellow NBA players RJ Barrett, Marvin Bagley III, and DeMarcus Cousins under the footwear giant’s Hoops imprint. The move comes after rumors started last week. Kuzma was spotted rocking a pair of PUMA Rhude Alteration sneakers at the Lakers media day on September 27th.

While not much is known about the deal itself, PUMA Global Director of Brand and Marketing Adam Petrick did speak about the deal. He stated that the addition is “a huge step for our brand.” Mr. Petrick went on to add, “His performance on the court speaks for itself, but his personality and style off the court fits perfectly with our team. He is tuned into the culture around the sport, and we’re excited to collaborate with him as we move into the upcoming NBA season.” Kuzma spent his first two years of his professional career as a Nike-sponsored athlete and signed a one-year sneaker deal with GOAT in October 2018. The sneaker reselling platform provided him with rare and hyped footwear to rock both on, and off the court. This is certainly a good look for both parties involved.

Take a look at the images from the partnership below. Keep it locked for much more from PUMA and Kyle Kuzma coming soon. While you’re at it, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more sneakers and sports news coming very soon.
