The good folks over at adidas are back at it once again. This time around, the brand with the three stripes returns with some big news, opening its first flagship across the Middle East, India, and Africa. Not only does its latest flagship mark its first flagship in the region, but it’s also the brand’s first store with sustainability as its focus. The new space is located in the largest shopping mall in the world, The Dubai Mall.
The technologically advanced store merges the physical and the digital realm, offering a look into the future in the process. The sportswear giant teamed up with three Dubai-based photographers to capture the innovative retail space. The space aims to enhance and elevate the brick-and-mortar experience through technological innovations.
The store features the new “Bring it to Me” initiative, a concept tailored for consumer needs. The store also features a screen-clad RFID Smart Fitting Room that provides an immersive experience. The store also boasts a bespoke lineup of additional in-store concessions such as MakerLab. Here shoppers can customize purchases with specialist staff hosting a variety of activations.
The 15,909sqft space also marks the introduction of the region’s first dedicated Outdoor collection. There is even a massive women’s and kid’s area that features an array of products. The space has been rated gold by the LEED green building certification body while also providing an educational area for the importance of eco-friendly practices.
